"Growth occurs when individuals confront problems, struggle to master them, and through that struggle develop new aspects of their skills, capacities, views about life"

WHAT TO EXPECT
Learn About My Methods
I am a fully qualified and British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) registered person-centred counsellor/psychotherapist, therefore I hold the client at the centre of all sessions.

Person-centred counsellors implement effective psychotherapy methods installing self-understanding amongst clients, through engaging fully in the clients process. This awards the time and space to adopt new attitudes and feelings towards life situations.

I have much experience in working with a wide range of life complexities such as anxiety, depression, mental health disorders and trauma, to name a few.
It is essential to keep in mind that therapy is not a magic pill or a quick fix: therapy is a healing process that necessitates participation and investment from the patient and therapist alike.
Experiencing a therapeutic relationship, being heard within any self-defeating behaviour, beliefs or views and facing any feelings of sadness, fear, grief, trauma or pain can bring life-altering results.
